The MLX90109 125kHz RFID Integrated Transceiver is highly integrated for 125kHz ASK transponders. It has a parallel antenna, which improves the reader's power efficiency compared to serial antenna implementations. The PCB size is minimized with SO8 reader IC and minimum external components. The MLX90109 also has an integrated hardwired decoder for Biphase and Manchester ASK, 2kbit and 4kbit transponders. It allows for direct amplitude modulation on the reader antenna for downlink to transponder. The device has power down mode with brown out protection and optimized system cost. It is also easy to design and implement.
