This is a 3-port physical layer interface IC that supports 100Mb/s and 200Mb/s transfers, is compatible with any 1394 standard Link Layer Controller, supports 5V voltage, and supports single 3.3V power supply.
The PDI1394P11A is an IEEE‑1395‑1995 compliant physical‑layer IC that provides three 1394 cable ports, bus initialization, arbitration and line‑condition monitoring. It operates from a single 3.3 V supply and is compatible with both 3 V and 5 V link‑layer controllers.
