The MAX13036 is an automotive contact monitor and level shifter that monitors and debounces eight remote mechanical switches, and asserts an interrupt (INT) if a switch changes state.
The MAX13036 is an automotive contact monitor and level shifter that monitors and debounces eight remote mechanical switches. Switch thresholds are set to 50% of the BATREF voltage, and hysteresis is adjustable via an external resistor. The device provides CMOS‑compatible logic outputs, an interrupt output, and built‑in wetting current to keep contacts clean.
The datasheet specifies operating voltage ranges of +6 V to +26 V, a typical supply current of about 1 µA, and up to 8 kV HBM ESD protection on the switch inputs. Electrical characteristics, timing diagrams, pin descriptions, and package dimensions are provided for hardware designers.
| Operating Voltage Range | +6 V to +26 V |
|---|---|
| Input Voltage Range (continuous current pins) | 0.3 V to +6.0 V |
| ESD Protection on INO‑IN7 | 8 kV HBM |
| Number of Switch Inputs | 8 |
