About this manual

The MAX13013, MAX13014 and MAX3023 are bidirectional level‑translator devices that enable 100 Mbps data transfer across multivoltage systems. They accept VCC from +1.65 V to +3.6 V and VL from +1.2 V to (VCC ‑ 0.4 V), providing guaranteed data rates of up to 100 Mbps when VL > 1.8 V.

The datasheet includes absolute maximum ratings, electrical and timing characteristics, pin descriptions, test circuits, and detailed package information for the SC70, SOT23, UCSP and TSSOP variants. It also outlines enable‑pin behavior and recommended driver requirements.

Frequently asked questions

What data rate is guaranteed for the MAX13013/14/3023?

The devices guarantee a 100 Mbps data rate when the low‑voltage side (VL) is above 1.8 V.

What are the allowed VCC and VL voltage ranges?

VCC may be between +1.65 V and +3.6 V, while VL may be between +1.2 V and (VCC ‑ 0.4 V).

What is the function of the EN pin?

The EN pin enables the translator; when pulled low (or high for the MAX3023 TSSOP), all I/Os go into tri‑state mode.
