The MAX3000E/MAX3001E/MAX3002–MAX3012 8-channel level translators
The MAX3000E, MAX3001E, MAX3002‑MAX3012 are 8‑channel bidirectional level translators that shift logic levels between low‑voltage ASICs/PLDs and higher‑voltage systems. They operate with VL voltages from +1.2 V to +5.5 V and VCC voltages from +1.65 V to +5.5 V, providing guaranteed data rates from 230 kbps up to 20 Mbps.
Key features include +15 kV ESD protection on I/O VCC lines, an EN pin that reduces supply current to less than 2 µA in shutdown, and availability in 20‑bump UCSP, 20‑pin TQFN and 20‑pin TSSOP packages. The device is rated for –40 °C to +85 °C operation and includes detailed electrical, timing and package specifications.
