The MAX13042E–MAX13045E 4-channel, bidirectional level translators provide the level shifting necessary for 100Mbps data transfer in multivoltage systems
The MAX13042E‑MAX13045E family provides four independent bidirectional level‑translation channels for high‑speed (100 Mbps) data transfer between low‑voltage ASIC/PLD logic and higher‑voltage systems. Each channel includes internal pull‑up/down current sources and an enable pin that can place the device into a low‑power shutdown mode.
The devices operate from –40 °C to +85 °C, are available in 12‑bump UCSP and 14‑pin TDFN packages, and feature ±15 kV ESD protection on I/O lines. Detailed electrical, timing, and pin‑out specifications are provided for designers.
| Supply Voltage VCC | 2.2 V to 3.6 V |
|---|---|
| Supply Voltage VL | 1.62 V to 3.2 V |
| Operating Temperature Range | -40 °C to +85 °C |
| Maximum Data Rate | 100 Mbps |
| Number of Channels | 4 |
| Enable Input (EN) | Shutdown when driven low |
| ESD Protection | ±15 kV on I/O VCC lines |
The VCC supply must be between 2.2 V and 3.6 V.
It provides four independent bidirectional channels.
The device supports up to 100 Mbps data transfer.
Driving EN low puts the device into a low‑power shutdown mode.
