MAX9248/MAX9250 is a digital video serial-to-parallel converter produced by Texas Instruments, which supports a total of 27 bits of data and control signals. During data transmission, the LVDS serial input signal is converted to 18 bits of parallel video data, and during control signal transmission, the input signal is converted to 9 bits of parallel control data.
The MAX9248 and MAX9250 are 27‑bit LVDS deserializers that convert serial video data into 18‑bit parallel video and 9‑bit parallel control data. They operate from a +3.3 V core supply with a separate output supply for 1.8 V‑3.3 V logic, and are offered in a 48‑lead LQFP package.
Key features include programmable spread‑spectrum output (+4 % or +2 %), proprietary data decoding for DC balance, selectable latch edge, and robust ESD protection meeting ISO 10605 and IEC 61000‑4‑2 Level 4 standards.
| Frequency range | 2.5 MHz to 42 MHz |
|---|---|
| Core supply voltage | +3.3 V ±10 % |
| Output supply voltage range | 1.8 V to 3.3 V |
| Package | 48‑lead LQFP |
| Operating temperature | -40 °C to +85 °C (or -40 °C to +105 °C) |
