About this manual

The MAX9257 serializer pairs with the MAX9258 deserializer to form a fully programmable digital video serial link. Both devices support 10, 12, 14, 16, and 18‑bit parallel data widths, spread‑spectrum clocking, parity protection, and an integrated UART/I²C control channel.

Available in 40‑lead TQFN and 48‑lead LQFP packages, the parts operate from –40 °C to +105 °C and draw up to 45 mA at the highest data rate. Detailed electrical characteristics, pin descriptions, and performance graphs are provided for system designers.
