About this manual

The PSD8XXFX family provides flash‑in‑system programmable (ISP) peripherals for 8‑bit MCUs. Each device combines up to 2 Mbit primary flash, a secondary flash bank, battery‑backed SRAM and a programmable logic array with up to 27 configurable I/O ports. The integrated JTAG serial port enables full‑chip programming and simplifies development and production testing.

The datasheet details pin assignments for PQFP52, PLCC52 and TQFP64 packages, memory architecture, power‑management options, and programming instructions. It also includes register maps, timing diagrams, and a revision history for the devices.
