About this manual

The 54AC16822, 54ACT16822, 74AC16822 and 74ACT16822 are 20‑bit D‑type flip‑flops featuring three‑state outputs. Each device consists of two 10‑bit sections that store the inverse of the data present at the D inputs on the rising edge of the clock and present it on the Q outputs when enabled.

These parts are offered in Texas Instruments’ shrink small‑outline package (SSOP) with 25‑mil center‑to‑center pin spacing, providing a higher I/O pin count than a standard SSOP while keeping the same PCB area. The AC versions have CMOS‑compatible input thresholds, the ACT versions have TTL‑compatible thresholds, and they are qualified over military‑grade temperature ranges.
