The LSM2 series single output, non-isolated, selectable-output POL DC/DC converters are point-of-load (POL) converters for distributed bus architectures. They have wide input ranges of 5V and 12V, maximum outputs of 6A, 10A or 16A, DOSA compatible SMT package, phased start up sequencing and tracking, extensive self-protection, and the ability to start up into pre-biased loads. They are fully compatible with the Distributed-power Open Standards Alliance specification and can power CPU's, programmable logic and mixed voltage systems with little heat and low noise. They deliver high power in a tiny area with quick transient response and fast current slew rates.
