The TUSB2043 is a 4-port USB hub that is compliant with the USB 1.1 specification, low power, supports 1.8V and 3.3V power supply, integrated USB transceivers, using a state machine, no programming.
The TUSB2043 provides one upstream port and four downstream ports that comply with the USB 1.1 specification. It integrates full‑speed and low‑speed USB transceivers and uses a digital state machine, so no firmware programming is required. The device supports both bus‑powered and self‑powered operation, selectable via the BUSPWR pin.
An optional serial EEPROM interface is available on pins 5 and 6 when the EXTMEM pin is low, allowing custom product and vendor IDs. Power‑switching and over‑current detection can be configured per‑port or ganged across all ports, and the hub includes push‑pull PWRON outputs and noise‑filtered OVRCUR inputs for robust operation.
