This document is an introduction to the CY7C65113C USB Hub with Microcontroller from Cypress Semiconductor Corporation. It describes the features and characteristics of the product.
The CY7C65113C is a full‑speed USB hub with an integrated 8‑bit microcontroller. It provides four downstream USB ports, a 12‑bit free‑running timer, watchdog timer, and an I²C‑compatible controller, all powered from 4.0 V to 5.5 V. The device includes 256 bytes of RAM and 8 KB of PROM, and its GPIO ports can sink up to 7 mA per pin.
The manual covers functional overview, pin configurations, programming model, clocking, reset, suspend mode, I/O ports, interrupt handling, USB operation, electrical and switching characteristics, ordering information, and package diagram. It also provides register summaries and sample schematics for hardware designers and firmware developers.
