The CP2200/1 is a single-chip Ethernet controller, which integrates IEEE 802.3 MAC and 10 BASE-T PHY, fully compatible with 100/1000 BASE-T networks, supports full/half duplex with auto-negotiation, automatic polarity detection and correction, automatic retransmission on collision, automatic padding and CRC generation, supports broadcast and multi-cast MAC addressing.
The CP2200/1 is a single‑chip Ethernet controller that integrates an IEEE 802.3 MAC, a 10BASE‑T PHY, and 8 kB of on‑chip flash memory. It is offered in a 48‑pin TQFP (9 × 9 mm) and a 28‑pin QFN (5 × 5 mm) package and supports both Intel and Motorola bus formats in multiplexed and non‑multiplexed modes, with data rates up to 30 Mbps.
The manual covers system overview, typical connection diagrams, absolute maximum ratings, electrical characteristics, pinout definitions, functional description, memory and register maps, interrupt and reset sources, power modes, transmit/receive interfaces, flash programming, MAC and PHY operation, and parallel interface options. Contact information and legal notices are provided at the end.
