ON SEMICONDUCTOR MC74HC540A Manual

The MC74HC540A/D is an eight-bit inverting buffer/line driver/line receiver designed by American Semiconductor Components Industry Company. It is pin compatible with LS540. External pull-up resistors make it compatible with LSTTL outputs. It is designed to be used with 3-state memory address drivers, clock drivers, and other bus-oriented systems. The device features inputs and outputs on opposite sides of the package and two ANDed active-low output enables. It is similar in function to the HC541A, which has noninverting outputs.
