This document introduces the features and characteristics of the MMQA series products, including the functions, performance and specifications.
The SC-74 Quad Common Anode series provides four separate unidirectional transient voltage suppressor devices in a single SC‑74 package, ideal for space‑constrained designs. It is suited for protecting voltage‑ and ESD‑sensitive equipment such as computers, printers, communication systems, and medical devices.
Key features include a minimum peak power of 24 W at 1 ms and 150 W at 20 µs, low leakage (<2 µA), and an ESD rating of Class N (exceeding 16 kV). The datasheet also details electrical characteristics, typical application circuits, mechanical dimensions, and ordering information.
| Peak Power (1 ms, unidirectional) | 24 W |
|---|---|
| Peak Power (20 µs, unidirectional) | 150 W |
| Low Leakage Current | < 2.0 µA |
| ESD Rating | Class N (>16 kV) |
| Total Power Dissipation on FR‑5 Board | 225 mW |
| Thermal Resistance (Junction‑to‑Ambient, SC‑74) | 5.56 °C/W |
The device can dissipate a minimum of 24 W at a 1 ms pulse.
It has an ESD rating of Class N, exceeding 16 kV under the Human Body Model.
The devices are supplied in an SC‑74 surface‑mount package.
The leakage current is less than 2 µA.
