About this manual

The MAX1407, MAX1408, MAX1409 and MAX1414 are low‑power, general‑purpose, multichannel data‑acquisition systems (DAS) optimized for battery‑operated applications. They operate from a single +2.7 V to +3.6 V supply and provide a 16‑bit sigma‑delta ADC, 10‑bit force/sense DACs, and an on‑chip RTC.

Key features include programmable three‑state digital outputs, shutdown control, a data‑ready output, and selectable gain settings. The devices are offered in space‑saving 28‑pin SSOP packages (MAX1407/1408/1414) or a 20‑pin SSOP package (MAX1409) and are suited for medical instruments, industrial control, portable equipment, automatic testing and robotics.
