This document introduces the DS75LX digital thermometer and thermostat. The product works with a voltage range of 1.7V to 3.7V, provides 9, 10, 11 or 12-bit digital temperature readings, measures temperatures from -55°C to +125°C with an accuracy of ±2°C, and works within a temperature range of -25°C to +100°C.
The DS75LX provides temperature measurements from –55 °C to +125 °C with ±2 °C accuracy (‑25 °C to +100 °C) and configurable resolution of 9 to 12 bits. Communication is via a standard 2‑wire serial interface, and three tri‑state address pins allow up to 27 devices to share the same bus, simplifying distributed temperature‑sensing applications.
The device includes a dedicated open‑drain thermostat output (O.S.) with programmable fault tolerance and two operating modes (comparator and interrupt). A shutdown mode reduces power consumption, while the configuration register lets users set resolution, fault tolerance, polarity, and operating mode.

The DS75LX operates from 1.7 V to 3.7 V supply voltage.
Up to 27 devices can be addressed on a single 2‑wire bus using the three tri‑state address pins.
The device defaults to 9‑bit resolution for software compatibility with the LM75.
