About this manual

The TDA 5200 is a very low‑power consumption single‑chip ASK receiver covering the 868‑870 MHz and 433‑435 MHz bands. It integrates a low‑noise amplifier, double‑balanced mixer, fully integrated VCO and PLL synthesiser, crystal oscillator, limiter with RSSI generation, data filter, data slicer and peak detector, plus a power‑down feature to save battery life.

Typical applications include keyless entry systems, remote‑control devices, alarm systems and low‑bitrate communication links. The device is supplied in a PG‑TSSOP‑28 package and requires only a few external components.
