The MAX4864L, MAX4865L, MAX4866L and MAX4867 are overvoltage protection controllers that safeguard low‑voltage systems from high‑voltage faults up to +28 V and protect against reverse polarity down to –28 V. They drive a low‑cost complementary MOSFET and include an internal charge pump, eliminating the need for external capacitors.
The devices are offered in 6‑pin SOT‑23 and 6‑pin 2 mm × 2 mm UDFN packages and operate over a –40 °C to +85 °C temperature range. Typical applications include cell phones, PDAs, digital cameras and MP3 players.
