AD823 is a dual, 16 MHz, Rail-to-Rail FET input amplifier manufactured by Analog Devices.
The AD823 is a dual precision op‑amp that operates from a single 3 V‑36 V supply or ±1.5 V‑±18 V dual supplies. It offers rail‑to‑rail output swing, low offset (0.8 mV max) and drift (2 µV/°C), ultra‑low input bias current (≤25 pA) and low noise (16 nV/√Hz at 10 kHz). Its high output drive (15 mA) and ability to source 500 pF capacitive loads make it suitable for A/D drivers, active filters and other high‑dynamic‑range circuits.
The datasheet provides detailed specifications, absolute maximum ratings, thermal resistance, ESD precautions, typical performance graphs, and an ordering guide for the PDIP and SOIC packages. All values are given for the standard temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C.
| –3 dB Bandwidth (G=+1) | 16 MHz |
|---|---|
| Slew Rate (G=–1, Vo=4 V step) | 22 V/µs |
| Input Voltage Noise (10 kHz) | 16 nV/√Hz |
| Input Bias Current (typical) | 25 pA |
| Operating Supply Range | 3 V to 36 V |
| Capacitive Load Drive | 500 pF |
The device can source up to 15 mA, which is sufficient to maintain a 0.5 V headroom from the supply rails.
It can drive up to 500 pF of capacitive load in a follower configuration.
