About this manual

The M54580P and M54580FP are seven‑circuit output‑sourcing Darlington transistor arrays made of PNP and NPN transistors. They provide high‑current driving with very low input current and feature active‑level inputs, built‑in diodes, and a wide operating temperature range.

Typical applications include driving relays, printers, LEDs, fluorescent display tubes, lamps, and interfacing MOS‑bipolar logic to relays, solenoids, or small motors. The FP version is supplied in a low‑profile molded package for space‑saving designs.
