The XCM406 Series 700mA High Speed Dual LDO Regulator is used in mobile phones, Bluetooth equipment, portable AV equipment and portable gaming equipment.
The XCM406 Series is a high‑current, dual LDO regulator designed for mobile phones, Bluetooth equipment, portable AV and gaming devices. It integrates a voltage reference, error amplifier, current limiter, phase‑compensation circuit and driver transistor in an ultra‑small USP‑12B01 (2.8 mm × 2.3 mm) package.
Key features include a typical 700 mA output current (800 mA limit), 50 mV dropout at 100 mA, selectable output voltages from 0.8 V to 5.0 V in 0.05 V steps, low quiescent current (35 µA), and 60 dB ripple rejection at 1 kHz. The device supports stand‑by mode via the CE pin and offers built‑in current‑limit and fold‑back protection.
| Maximum Output Current | 700 mA (typ 800 mA limit) |
|---|---|
| Dropout Voltage (100 mA) | 50 mV |
| Output Voltage Setting Range | 0.8 V – 5.0 V (0.05 V increments) |
| Low Power Consumption (Quiescent Current) | 35 µA typ. |
| Ripple Rejection | 60 dB @ 1 kHz |
| Operating Temperature Range | -40 °C to 85 °C |
| Package | USP‑12B01 (RoHS‑compliant) |
The typical maximum output current is 700 mA, with an absolute limit of 800 mA.
The internal regulator can be shut down by applying a signal to the CE pin.
It is supplied in a USP‑12B01 package, which is RoHS‑compliant and measures 2.8 mm × 2.3 mm.
The dropout voltage is 50 mV when the output current is 100 mA.
