XCL205/XCL206/XCL207 series stable voltage chip, with switch tube and control IC inside, operating voltage range 2.0~6.0V, output current 600mA, working frequency 3.0MHz, with fast response, low ripple, high efficiency characteristics.
The XCL205/XCL206/XCL207 series are synchronous step‑down micro DC/DC converters that integrate an inductor and control IC in a 2.5 mm × 2.0 mm package. They provide a stable 600 mA output using only two external capacitors and operate from 2.0 V to 6.0 V input (1.8 V‑6.0 V for G‑type devices).
Key features include PWM control (XCL205), automatic PWM/PFM switching (XCL206), and selectable PWM/PFM modes (XCL207), a 3.0 MHz oscillation frequency, built‑in UVLO, soft‑start, and low standby current (≈1 µA). Typical applications are mobile phones, Bluetooth headsets, portable game consoles, digital cameras, and other handheld electronics.
| Input Voltage Range | 2.0 V – 6.0 V (1.8 V – 6.0 V for G‑type) |
|---|---|
| Efficiency (typical) | ≈90 % at VIN=4.2 V, VOUT=3.3 V |
| Package Size | 2.5 mm × 2.0 mm × 1.0 mm (H) |
The devices operate from 2.0 V to 6.0 V (1.8 V to 6.0 V for the G‑type versions).
XCL205 uses fixed PWM control, XCL206 switches automatically between PWM and PFM, and XCL207 allows manual selection between PWM and automatic PWM/PFM modes.
The converters can reach up to 90 % efficiency under typical conditions.
