The XC6202 series is a highly precise, low power consumption, high voltage input, positive voltage regulator manufactured using CMOS and laser trimming technologies. It consists of a current limiter circuit, a driver transistor, a precision reference voltage, and an error correction circuit. The output voltage can be selected in 0.1V steps from 1.8V to 18V. The series is also compatible with low ESR ceramic capacitors, providing added output stability. The IC is protected against overshoot currents in cases of output shorts due to the built-in current limiter circuit. Available in SOT-23, SOT-89, TO-92, SOT-223, and USP-6B packages.
