The product features a 256-bit scratchpad to ensure data transfer integrity. The memory is partitioned into 256-bit pages for packetizing data. Strict read/write protocols ensure data integrity. The product has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C and data retention of over 10 years.

The MAX1776 high-efficiency step-down converter provides an adjustable output voltage from 1.25V to VIN from supply voltages as high as 24V. An internal current-limited 0.4Ω MOSFET delivers load currents up to 600mA. Operation to 100% duty cycle minimizes dropout voltage (240mV at 600mA). The MAX1776 has a low 15µA quiescent current to improve light-load efficiency and conserve battery life. The device draws only 3µA while in shutdown. High switching frequencies (up to 200kHz) allow the use of tiny surface-mount inductors and output capacitors. The MAX1776 is available in an 8-pin µMAX package, which uses half the space of an 8-pin SO. For increased output drive capability, use the MAX1626/MAX1627 step-down controllers, which drive an external P-channel MOSFET to deliver up to 20W.

This application note introduces power MOSFET gate driver circuits using high current super-β transistors.

The P89LPC930/931 are single-chip microcontrollers designed for applications demanding high-integration, low cost solutions over a wide range of performance requirements. The P89LPC930/931 is based on a high performance processor architecture that executes instructions in two to four clocks, six times the rate of standard 80C51 devices. Many system-level functions have been incorporated into the P89LPC930/931 in order to reduce component count, board space, and system cost.

EH300/EH301 Series Modules can accept energy from many types of electrical energy sources and store this energy to power conventional 3.3V and 5.0V electrical circuits and systems.

TD350 is an advanced gate driver for IGBT and power MOSFET. Control and protection functions are included and allow the design of high reliability systems. Innovative active Miller clamp function avoids the need of negative gate drive in most applications and allows the use of a simple bootstrap supply for the high side driver TD350 includes a two-level turn-off feature with adjustable level and delay. This function protects against excessive overvoltage at turn-off in case of overcurrent or short-circuit condition. Same delay is applied at turn-on to prevent pulse width distortion. TD350 also includes an IGBT desaturation protection and a FAULT status output. TD350 is compatible with both pulse transformer and optocoupler signals.

The MAX9729 is a stereo DirectDrive™ headphone amplifier that features bass boost, volume control, an input mux, and an I2C/SMBus™-compatible serial interface. This makes the MAX9729 ideal for portable audio applica- tions where space is at a premium and performance is essential. The MAX9729 operates from a single 1.8V to 3.6V, and uses Maxim’s patented† DirectDrive architec- ture, eliminating the need for large DC-blocking capaci- tors. The headphone amplifiers deliver 52mW into a 32Ω load, feature low 0.03% THD+N, and high 90dB PSRR. Maxim’s industry-leading click-and-pop sup- pression circuitry reduces audible transients during power and shutdown cycles. The BassMax feature boosts the bass response of the amplifier, improving audio reproduction for low-end headphones. The integrated volume control features 32 discrete volume levels along with a ramping function to ensure smooth transitions during shutdown cycles and input selection. The MAX9729’s eight programmable maximum gain settings allow for a wide range of input signal levels. A 3:1 multiplexer/mixer allows the selection and summation of multiple stereo input signal sources. The MAX9729 also includes a dedicated BEEP input with independent attenuation control. BassMax, volume control, gain settings, and input selection are controlled using the I2C/SMBus-compatible serial interface. A low- power, 5µA shutdown mode is controlled through an external logic input or the serial interface. The MAX9729 consumes o
