This document introduces the advantages of the Varian Evaporative Light Scattering Detector for non-UV chromophore samples, such as those encountered in high throughput screening of combinatorial libraries.
This document describes the features and characteristics of using Agilent PL aquagel-OH MIXED-H 8μm column for aqueous size exclusion chromatography analysis of polystyrene sulfonate.
Agilent PLgel 10 µm MIXED-B columns are ideal for routine analysis of oil extended butadiene rubber. They allow separation of polymer and oil peaks and are designed for high molecular weight polymer analysis and demanding eluent conditions. The 10 µm particle size provides good resolution with relatively low pressures.
This document introduces a technical overview of a method for fast GC analysis using large volume injection and rapid mass spectrometry, which can significantly reduce analysis time, improve sensitivity and lower detection limit
This document discusses the methods to avoid column mismatch when analyzing polymers using Agilent PLgel columns. Careful column selection can prevent artifacts when analyzing polydisperse samples.
This document provides a technical overview of Agilent PLgel 5 μm MIXED-D columns, which are designed for the analysis of polymers, paints, and resin systems. These columns offer high pore volume and excellent resolution for low molecular weight polymers and oligomers.
This document introduces the advantages of Flash Chromatography, using the Varian 385-LC ELS and 971-FP to analyze samples containing a mixture of UV and non-UV active compounds.
This technical overview introduces the Agilent 1260 Infinity Quaternary LC system, which can automatically optimize buffer and modifier concentrations without the need to prepare different buffer or modifier concentrations manually.
This document introduces the features and characteristics of the Agilent 1290/1260 Infinity Diode Array Detector, including its new optical design, new working principle, and new baseline interference minimization design, which makes its sensitivity more than ten times that of the Agilent 1200 Series UV Detectors.
This document introduces a multiresidue vegetable cleanup method for the determination of six chemicals representing various classes in spinach using Bond Elut Carbon, Carbon/PSA and Carbon/NH2 SPE cartridges.
The LM1042 is a fluid level detector that uses a thermal-resistive probe technique to measure the level of non-flammable fluids. It provides an output signal proportional to the fluid level and supports single-shot or repeating measurements. The device incorporates all the necessary control circuitry for the thermal-resistive probe, including short and open circuit probe detection. It also features a second linear input for alternative sensor signals.
A comparison study was conducted to evaluate the recovery of two basic amines using two silica-based strong cation exchange (SCX) solid phase extraction (SPE) products. Acidic and neutral impurities were spiked into human plasma to assess the selectivity for amines only. Both Agilent Bond Elut SCX and SampliQ Si-SCX showed comparable and consistent recoveries for the basic compounds used in this study. The use of Bond Elut SCX resulted in a clean extract and high recovery of basic compounds, such as amines.
Describes the working principle and performance of two gradient pumps in the Agilent 1260 Infinity LC series, which are the quaternary low pressure mixing pump and the binary high pressure mixing pump.
