The purpose of this application note is to provide ARM Developer Suite (ADS) users with information to help them program binary files to Flash memory using the software’s Flash downloader utility. This document provides step-by-step instructions for converting an application in ELF format to simple binary format and then downloading the resulting binary to the internal Flash memory of the STR71xF microcontroller on a target application board.

This application note provides guidance for using uClinux on STR71x series microcontrollers

This application note describes the ST1S03 features, including voltage range, current range, working frequency, package etc.

The L5972D is a step-down monolithic power switching regulator capable of delivering up to 2 A at output voltages from 1.235 V to 35 V. It has been designed using BCDV technology and the power switching element is implemented through a P-channel DMOS transistor. It does not require a bootstrap capacitor, and the duty cycle can range up to 100%. An internal oscillator fixes the switching frequency at 250 kHz. This minimizes the LC output filter. Pulse-by-pulse and frequency foldback over-current protection offer effective protection against short-circuit. Other features are voltage feed-forward, protection against feedback disconnection, and thermal shutdown. The device is housed in a thermally improved SO-8 package (with 4 pins connected to GND so that the thermal resistance junction-to-ambient is reduced to approximately one-half compared with a standard SO-8 package.

The L6205, L6206, L6207 are highly integrated, mixed-signal power ICs that allow the user to easily design a control system for two-phase bipolar stepper motors, multiple DC motors and a wide range of inductive loads.

This is the application note of L6235 three phase brushless DC motor driver, which introduces the features and characteristics of the product.

The L6208 is a highly integrated, mixed-signal power IC that allows the user to easily design a complete motor control system for two-phase bipolar stepper motors.

AN1447 is a technical application note that describes how to use ST62 MCU to drive a 4-multiplexed LCD. This technique is suitable for applications that require low-cost small displays, while also taking advantage of the ST62 MCU's multi-functionality.

This application note presents the half bridge converter for electronic lamp ballast using the L6574 and L6561. The L6574 is a high-performance ballast driver, designed using 600-V BCD offline technology, which ensures all the features needed to properly drive and control a fluorescent bulb. It is provided with built-in VCO start-up sequence circuitry, protections, and an operation amplifier for implementing a closed-loop control of the lamp current.

This paper introduces a new high voltage IC driver L6569 for electronic lamp ballasts. The driver features a simple, monolithic oscillator-half bridge driver, which allows quick design of the ballast. The paper also discusses the applications and characteristics of electronic lamp ballasts.

This document provides package and usage recommendation information for 500 µm pitch Flip Chips.
