This document provides a design guide for the ST7540 FSK powerline transceiver, including the power supply, modem and crystal oscillator, and line coupling interface sections. The reference design allows evaluation of the ST7540 features, particularly its transmitting and receiving performances on the power line.

SMP08 is an octal sample-and-hold with low droop rate, low cost and TTL/CMOS compatible logic inputs.

The SMP-03 is a product of RFM, a 10-terminal ceramic surface-mount case with a size of 7 x 5 mm.

The SMP04 is a monolithic quad sample-and-hold; it has four internal precision buffer amplifiers and internal hold capacitors. It is manufactured in ADI’s advanced oxide isolated CMOS technology to obtain the high accuracy, low droop rate and fast acquisition.

This document describes a low power adapter that can be used in travel battery charger applications. It uses the new Constant Voltage Constant Current (CVCC) controller TSM1052, which is housed in one of the smallest packages available (SOT23-6L). Thanks to its low consumption and low operating voltage, good electrical performance is achieved. Another important feature of this SMPS is the absence of the Y1 safety capacitor between primary and secondary grounds.

This document describes the reference design of the 25W Switch Mode Power Supply which is dedicated to industrial or white goods applications. The board accepts wide range input voltages (90 to 265Vrms) and delivers 2 or 3 output voltages depending on the version. Two types of power supply are available: negative output or positive output voltage. The actual version depends the way the components are assembled on the secondary side and on the configuration of jumpers. On the primary side, the PCB and transformer are the same for both versions. More information is available in Chapter 3. The Switch mode power supply is based on the VIPer53E. The VIPer53E combines in the same package an enhanced current mode PWM controller with a high voltage MDMesh Power Mosfet. High efficiency and low standby consumption are the main characteristics of this board. Such features, coupled with minimal part requirements and global low cost in addition to, makes it an ideal solution for powering industrial or consumer equipment, meeting worldwide standards.

This is an application note about ST72324L MCU, which describes how to use it to build a rechargeable battery charger.

The ST1S06 is a high-frequency synchronous step-down DC-DC converter from STMicroelectronics. It provides up to 1.5A over an input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V. The switching frequency is 1.5MHz. The device is protected against thermal runaway and current limiting to prevent damage due to accidental short circuits.

This application note introduces a simple cost-effective PFC using Bipolar Transistors for low-to-medium power HF Ballasts, and gives detailed design and application recommendations.

AN2272 is an ST application note that describes the design of a low power AC/DC adapter based on the Viper12A monolithic device. The adapter has an output power of 4.1W and can handle a wide range input voltages (88VAC to 265VAC).

Three-Phase SMPS for low power applications with VIPer12A introduced in ST application note AN2264

This application note describes zero-voltage switching (ZVS) control technology and emitter-switched bipolar transistor (ESBT) application in 3-phase auxiliary power supplies.

This application note describes the design procedure of a low power cell phone battery charger using the STD1LNK60Z chip. The charger employs the ringing choke converter (RCC) technique, which offers simple and low-cost implementation.
