This document introduces UCC28521/28 combination PFC/PWM controllers, which provide complete control functionality for any off-line power system requiring compliance with the IEC1000−3−2 harmonic reduction requirements. By combining the control and drive signals for the PFC and the PWM stages into a single device, significant performance and cost benefits are gained. Based on the UCC28511, the new devices employ an average current mode control architecture with input voltage feedforward. The major difference of the UCC28521/28 is that it uses trailing-edge PFC and trailing-edge PWM modulation, which provides higher switching speed.

This document describes a 20-bit D-type flip-flop with 3-state outputs. It utilizes the Widebus family technology and features inputs that are compatible with TTL or CMOS voltage levels. The TPS736xx is a cap-free, NMOS, 400mA low-dropout regulator with reverse current protection. It uses a new topology that allows stable operation with or without output capacitors, including capacitors with low ESR. The TPS736xx features high reverse blockage, constant ground pin current, and low dropout voltage.

TPS732xx series is a NMOS switching type low dropout regulator produced by TI, with a 250mA output current, using SOT223 and SOT23 packages, supports 1.7V to 5.5V input voltage range, has 0.5% initial accuracy and 1% total accuracy, working current as low as 1µA, very suitable for portable applications.

The TP3064A, TP3067A, TP13064A, and TP13067A are comprised of a single-chip PCM codec and PCM line filter, which can be used to interface a full-duplex voice telephone circuit with a TDM system. They provide functions including transmit high-pass and low-pass filtering, receive low-pass filter with (sin x)/x correction, µ-Law or A-Law compatible coder and decoder, internal precision voltage reference, serial I/O interface, internal autozero circuitry, etc. They support ±5V operation, have low operating power, and can automatically power down. They have a TTL- or CMOS-compatible digital interface and maximize line interface card circuit density. They are improved versions of National Semiconductor TP3064, TP3067, TP3064-X, and TP3067-X.

The THS8134 is a general-purpose triple high-speed D/A converter (DAC) optimized for use in video/graphics applications. The device operates from a 5-V analog supply and a 3-V to 5-V range digital supply. The THS8134 has a sampling rate up to 80 MSPS. The device consists of three 8-bit D/A converters and additional circuitry for bi-level/tri-level sync and blanking level generation in video applications. THS8134 is also well-suited in applications where multiple well-matched and synchronously operating DACs are needed; for example, I-Q modulation and direct-digital synthesis in communications equipment.

The TPS65140/145 is a triple output LCD supply with linear regulator and power good. The device has a 2.7-V to 5.8-V input voltage range, 1.6-MHz fixed switching frequency, 3 independent adjustable outputs, a main output up to 15 V with less than 1% typical output voltage accuracy, a negative output voltage down to -12 V/20 mA, a positive output voltage up to 30 V/20 mA, an auxiliary 3.3-V linear regulator controller, internal soft start, internal power-on sequencing, fault detection of all outputs, and thermal shutdown.

SN54ABTH16244 and SN74ABTH16244 are 16-bit buffers/drivers with 3-state outputs. They feature state-of-the-art EPIC-ΙΙB BiCMOS design that significantly reduces power dissipation. This document describes a 16-bit (dual-octal) noninverting bus transceiver with dynamic drive capability and noise reduction function. The product features a dual-rail design that operates within a power supply range of 1.4V to 3.6V.

The TPS2140/41/50/51 is a USB 1.0 and 2.0 Specification-compatible IC that contains a dual-current-limiting power switch and an adjustable low dropout regulator (LDO). Both the switch and LDO limit inrush current by controlling the turnon slew rate. The unique dual-current-limiting feature of the switch allows USB peripherals to utilize high-value capacitance at the output of the switch, while keeping the inrush current low. During turnon, the switch limits the current delivered to the capacitive load to less than 100 mA. When the output voltage from the switch reaches a threshold, the switch lowers the current-limiting threshold to allow the load's current requirements to be met before the load's voltage stabilizes.
