The ISL6571 is a MOSFET driver and synchronous half-bridge switch from Intersil that can implement synchronous rectifier buck switching regulators. The ISL6571 can replace two power MOSFETs, a Schottky diode, two gate drivers and synchronous control circuitry. ISL6571's main application ranges are high-density power conversion circuits, including multi-phase topology computer microprocessor core power regulators, ASIC and memory array regulators, etc. Another useful feature of the ISL6571 is the compatibility with three-state input control: if the input is open, the PWM input will turn off both output drives. The ISL6571 operates in continuous conduction mode to reduce EMI constraints and enable high bandwidth operation.

The ISL6406, ISL6426 is an adjustable frequency, synchronous buck switching regulator optimized for generating lower voltages for the distributed DC-DC architectures. The ISL6406 offers an adjustable output voltage, while the ISL6426 provides a fixed 1.8V output. Designed to drive N-Channel MOSFETs in synchronous buck topology, the ISL6406, ISL6426 integrates the control, output adjustment and protection functions into a single package. The ISL6406, ISL6426 provides simple, single feedback loop, voltage-mode control with fast transient response. The output voltage can be precisely regulated to as low as 0.8V. The error amplifier features a 15MHz gain-bandwidth product and 6V/µs slew rate which enables high converter bandwidth for fast transient performance. Protection from overcurrent conditions is provided by monitoring the rDS(ON) of the upper MOSFET to inhibit PWM operation appropriately. This approach simplifies the implementation and improves efficiency by eliminating the need for a current sense resistor. The wide programmable switching frequency range of 100kHz to 700kHz allows the use of small surface mount inductors and capacitors. The device also provides external frequency synchronization making it an ideal choice for DC-DC converter applications.

This method is for the determination of the number of vinyl groups (C=C) in polyethylene resins by infrared spectroscopy. The test is used primarily for resins made with chromium catalyst technology, which gives a vinyl group at the end of each polymer chain, rather than resins made with titanium-based catalysts, which have few unsaturation sites. The method is applicable to powder, pellets or pieces cut from finished parts, but cannot be used for filled or pigmented samples.

This method is for the determination of Irganox 1010 and chemically identical antioxidants in polyethylene where the additive package is known. The method utilizes a characteristic ester carbonyl band associated with the additive that is common in many other additives. Therefore, the total additive package must be known to confirm that other additives present do not contain bands that would interfere with the measurement. The method is typically used for process control of additive addition and is not recommended for filled or pigmented resins. The sample must be pressed into a film or coupon prior to the analysis.

Agilent Determination of percent ethylene in ethylene-propylene statistical copolymers Manual
This method is for the determination of the statistical or randomly distributed ethylene content of ethylene-propylene copolymers. The determination is specific for ethylene and cannot be applied for the quantitation of other comonomers. The method has been validated over the range of 0.3 to 3.5% statistical content and can be used for either powder or pellet samples. Certain sorbitol-based clarifiers have been found to interfere with the determination and therefore a correction factor is necessary for resins containing these additives. This method is generally not recommended for quantitation of ethylene in filled or pigmented resins.

This means that the effective system delay introduced by the schottky-clamped system decoder is negligible.

This application describes the development of a liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) method for the determination of estrone-3-sulfate (E1S) in water with a sensitivity below the ppt level (< ng L-1). The method involves solid-phase extraction (SPE) and liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) in negative electrospray mode. The method achieved high recoveries (>93%) and low detection limits (<1 pg L-1). In addition, the method was highly selective, with no interferences from other compounds observed. This makes it a suitable method for the analysis of E1S in environmental water samples.
