About this manual

The Bosch BMA180 is a digital, triaxial acceleration sensor for consumer market applications. It measures static and dynamic acceleration and provides absolute orientation in a gravity field through three perpendicular axes.

The sensor provides a 14-bit digital output through 4-wire SPI or I2C interfaces. It supports programmable g-ranges from 1 g to 16 g, includes an integrated temperature sensor, and comes in a 12-pin LGA package measuring 3 x 3 mm with a height of 0.9 mm.
