The BECO MEMBRAN H Mini is a 0.2 µm hydrophobic PTFE membrane filter designed for sterilizing filtration in applications such as sterile gas venting, fermentation air, bioreactors, and exhaust. It is suitable for high‑pressure sterilization venting and sterile process gases.
The filter consists of a PTFE membrane with polypropylene components (non‑woven support, inner/outer shells, caps, and silicone O‑ring). Key parameters include a nominal length of 1 in (25 mm), filter area of 0.05 m², diameter 57 mm, and defined maximum pressure drops at various temperatures. It can be steam‑sterilized at 135 °C for 30 min up to 40 cycles, has a pure‑water flow rate of 0.06 ml/min, and provides bacterial retention of 10⁷ CFU/cm².
