The DS4305 is a low-cost adjustable voltage reference that can be adjusted using automated techniques in the factory. It is used in power-supply calibration, threshold setting, offset nulling, bias adjusting, power amps, pressure bridges and factory-calibrated equipment.
The DS4305 is a nonvolatile (NV) sample-and-infinite-hold adjustable voltage reference designed for factory calibration and threshold setting. The reference voltage is programmed in-circuit during factory calibration by applying the desired voltage on Vin and toggling the adjust pin (ADJ) to lock the Vout voltage level indefinitely. This allows for automated factory trimming and readjustment after assembly, resulting in lower inventory costs and quicker time-to-market. The device operates on a single supply of 4.0V to 5.5V and features a small 5-lead SOT23 package.
