The AJA D5CE Serial Digital Encoder provides low-cost, all-digital conversion of SDI to either composite or component analog video. It features three user-configurable analog BNC outputs that support various formats including YPbPr, Betacam, RGB, and NTSC/PAL. The device automatically configures for 525 or 625 line inputs and includes a re-clocked SDI loop-through output for monitoring and dubbing applications.

The outputs support YPbPr, Betacam, RGB, NTSC, PAL, and combinations of composite and Y/C.
Configuration is done using a 4-switch DIP interface accessible through a cut-out in the bottom of the unit.
