This document provides a technical overview of the Agilent PLgel 5 μm MIXED-D column, which is specifically designed for the analysis of polymers, paints, and resin systems. The column has a high pore volume and 5 μm efficiency, providing excellent resolution for low molecular weight polymers and oligomers.
The PLgel 5 um MIXED-D column is specifically designed for the analysis of polymers, paints, and resin systems where material above 400,000 MW is unlikely to be present. It features high pore volume concentrated in the operating range combined with 5 um efficiency to provide excellent resolution for low MW polymers and oligomers.
These columns serve as a perfect replacement for popular 10*/500 A or 10'/10°/500 A/100 A column combinations. They are ideally suited for analyzing polymers produced by condensation polymerization, which rarely contain material above 400,000 molecular weight.

It is designed for the analysis of polymers, paints, and resin systems where material above 400,000 MW is unlikely to be present.
Because polymers produced by condensation polymerization rarely contain material above 400,000 molecular weight.
Two, or even three, PLgel 5 um MIXED-D columns are the perfect replacement.
