TEA1102, TEA1102T, TEA1102TS are fast charge ICs from Philips Semiconductors for NiCd, NiMH, SLA and LiIon batteries
This document is a preliminary specification datasheet for the TEA1102 family of integrated circuits (TEA1102, TEA1102T, TEA1102TS) manufactured by Philips Semiconductors. These ICs are designed to provide safe and fast charging solutions for Nickel Cadmium (NiCd), Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH), Sealed Lead Acid (SLA), and Lithium Ion (LiIon) batteries.
| Supply Voltage (Vp) | 5.5 - 11.6 V |
|---|---|
| Package Type | DIP20, SOT146-1; SOT163-1; SOT339-1 |
| Fast Charge Current Range | 0.5 CA to 5 CA nominal |
| Maximum Battery Charge Current (NiCd/NiMH) | 10 mA |
The IC supports safe and fast charging for Nickel Cadmium (NiCd), Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH), Lithium Ion (LiIon), and Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries.
It uses AT/At (temperature detection) and/or peak voltage detection, automatically switching to voltage peak if no temperature sensor is present.
