The TEA1204T is a high efficiency DC/DC converter, which integrates low RdsON CMOS power switches. It supports 2.3/3.6/5.0V output and the maximum output power is 3.6W (continuous) and 8W (GSM TDMA burst mode).
The Philips TEA1204T is a fully integrated DC/DC converter circuit designed to supply electronic circuits with voltages of 3.3V, 3.6V, or 5.0V from NiCd cell batteries or one Lilon battery. It features up-or-down conversion capabilities and achieves high efficiency (up to 96%) at high loads using a digitally controlled Pulse Width and Frequency Modulation scheme.
| Output voltage (up mode, VSEL=LOW) | 5.05 V typ. |
|---|---|
| Maximum continuous current | 1.0 A |
| Switching frequency | 200 kHz typ. |
| Operating ambient temperature | -40 to +80 °C |
The typical continuous output power is up to 3.6 W, or 8 W in GSM burst mode.
It uses an 8-pin SO plastic small outline package with a body width of 3.9 mm.
