This document is about the warning and precautions for using a meter. It includes the limitations for voltage, resistance, capacitance, logic, and continuity functions, as well as the safety measures to be followed when using the meter.
This manual explains how to safely operate the IDEAL 61-361 Test‑Pro Multimeter. It includes important warnings such as not exceeding the 600 V rating, avoiding electrical storms, and inspecting leads before use. The document also describes proper measurement procedures for voltage, resistance, current, frequency, capacitance, diode testing, continuity, and phase‑rotation detection.
Additional sections cover routine user maintenance, cleaning, fuse and battery replacement, and warranty information. Technical specifications such as dimensions, weight, operating temperature range, battery life, and overload protection are listed for quick reference.

Do not exceed the 600 V rating, avoid measuring circuits above 500 V, do not use during electrical storms, and always disconnect power before measuring resistance or capacitance.
Disconnect the test leads, turn off the meter, remove the rear screws, open the case, slide out the fuse, check its continuity, and install a new fuse of the same rating before re‑closing the case.
It measures 10 cm × 18.75 cm × 6.25 cm and weighs 510 g (18 oz).
