About this manual

The Philips 74HC/HCT4066 are high-speed Si-gate CMOS devices containing four independent analog switches. Each switch has two input/output terminals and an active HIGH enable input, allowing signal transmission in either direction when enabled.

These devices exhibit very low ON-resistance (typically 50 Ω at Vcc = 4.5 V) which remains relatively constant over the full input signal range. They are pin compatible with the '4066' of the '4000B' series and comply with JEDEC standard no. 7A.
