The SAB9075H is a Picture-in-Picture (PIP) controller for NTSC. It can display one or two live pictures simultaneously, with a wide range of multi-PIP modes available. It features six 6-bit Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADC) with clamping circuit, enhanced vertical resolution at most modes for live pictures, and two Phase-Locked-Loops (PLL) with Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) to generate the line-locked clocks. It also includes three 7-bit Digital-to-Analog Converters (DAC) and supports a 4:1:1 data format. The controller is I2C-bus programmable, allowing for different single, double, and multi-PIP modes to be set. It can handle several aspect ratios and supports automatic and manual data reduction factors. Users can select the vertical filtering type, freeze live pictures, and adjust the display position and acquisition area. The controller supports single-PIP display position in the four corners of the screen, and multi-PIP display position on the left or right. Fine-tuned display position and acquisition area can be adjusted. Users can also select various border and background colors, as well as adjust the border and background brightness. The controller supports multiple types of decoder inputs.
