This document is a product specification for the Philips P8xC557E4 family of single-chip 8-bit microcontrollers. The devices are derivatives of the 80C51 family and include three versions: the ROM-coded P83C557E4, the ROMless P80C557E4, and the Flash-EEPROM based P89C557E4.

The three versions are the P83C557E4 with 32 Kbytes mask programmable ROM, the P80C557E4 which is a ROMless version, and the P89C557E4 with 32 Kbytes FEEPROM.
