This document describes the features and characteristics of the IDT7024S/L high-speed 4K x 16 dual-port static RAM, including busy and interrupt flags, port arbitration logic, support for semaphore signaling, asynchronous operation, battery backup operation, industrial temperature range, etc.
The IDT7024S/L from Integrated Device Technology is a 4K × 16 (64 K‑bit) dual‑port static RAM. It offers true dual‑ported memory cells, high‑speed access, low‑power operation, and optional battery‑backup data retention.
The device is supplied in 84‑pin PGA, 84‑pin quad flatpack, 84‑pin PLCC, and 100‑pin TQFP packages. Electrical specifications include a 5 V ±10% supply, active power of 750 mW, and operation across military (‑55 °C to +125 °C) and commercial (0 °C to +70 °C) temperature ranges. Detailed pin configurations, timing diagrams, and ordering information are provided in the datasheet.
