About this manual

The SN54AHCT373 and SN74AHCT373 devices are octal‑transparent D‑type latches. When the latch‑enable (LE) input is high, the Q outputs follow the data (D) inputs; when LE is low, the outputs retain the last data. A buffered output‑enable (OE) pin can place the eight outputs in normal logic or high‑impedance state, allowing bus‑line driving without external pull‑ups.

The datasheet provides absolute‑maximum ratings, recommended operating conditions, electrical characteristics, timing diagrams, package options, and mechanical drawings. It also includes ordering information for various package types such as PDIP, SOIC, TSSOP, and more.

Frequently asked questions

What does the OE pin do?

The buffered output‑enable (OE) pin selects either normal logic operation or a high‑impedance state for all eight outputs.

What is the maximum continuous output current per pin?

Each output can source or sink up to ±25 mA continuously.

What is the storage temperature range for these devices?

The devices can be stored from –65 °C up to 150 °C.
