Ricoh RX5RL Series Application Manual

The R×5RL Series are voltage regulator ICs with high accuracy output voltage and ultra-low quiescent cur- rent by CMOS process. Each of these ICs consists of a voltage reference unit, an error amplifier, a driver tran- sistor, and resistors for setting output voltage. The output voltage is fixed with high accuracy. Three types of packages, TO-92, SOT-89 (Mini-power Mold), SOT-23-5 (Mini-mold), are available.

About this manual

The RX5RL Series are voltage regulator ICs with high‑accuracy output and ultra‑low quiescent current. Three package types are offered (TO‑92, SOT‑89 Mini‑power Mold, SOT‑23‑5 Mini‑mold) and the output voltage can be set in 0.1 V steps from 2.0 V to 6.0 V.

The manual lists absolute maximum ratings, electrical characteristics for each part number, pin‑out tables, and typical application circuits such as voltage‑boost and current‑boost designs with over‑current protection.
