The R1160N series are voltage regulator ICs with high output voltage accuracy, low supply current, and low ON-resistance by CMOS process.
The R1160N series are CMOS‑process voltage regulator ICs with high output‑voltage accuracy, low supply current, and low on‑resistance. Each device integrates a voltage reference, error amplifier, resistors for setting output voltage, a current‑limit circuit and a chip‑enable function. The series supports three operating modes: standby, fast‑transient (FT) and low‑power (LP), selectable via the ECO pin.
Typical specifications include a 0.8 V‑3.3 V output range with 0.1 V steps, up to 250 mA output current, ultra‑low supply currents (3.5 µA in LP mode, 40 µA in FT mode), and a compact SOT‑23‑5 package. Applications cover precision voltage references, power sources for cameras, VCRs, handheld communication equipment, and battery‑powered devices.
| Supply Current (Fast Transient Mode) | 40 µA typ. |
|---|---|
| Output Voltage Range | 0.8 V – 3.3 V, step 0.1 V |
| Maximum Output Current | 250 mA |
| Temperature‑Drift Coefficient | +100 ppm/°C typ. |
| Package | SOT‑23‑5 (Super Mini‑mold) |
Output voltage can be set stepwise in 0.1 V increments over a range of 0.8 V to 3.3 V.
The device can deliver up to 250 mA of output current.
The R1160N ICs are supplied in a SOT‑23‑5 (Super Mini‑mold) package.
