The MOC3010M‑MOC3023M series are optically isolated triac driver devices that contain a GaAs infrared LED and a light‑activated silicon bilateral switch. They are intended for interfacing electronic controls with power triacs to switch resistive and inductive loads in 115 VAC applications, and are used in industrial controls, solenoid/valve drives, traffic lights, vending machines, lamp dimmers, solid‑state relays, motor control and lamp ballasts.
Key specifications include a minimum isolation voltage of 5300 VAC RMS, peak blocking voltages of 250 V (MOC301X) or 400 V (MOC302X), continuous forward current of 60 mA, reverse voltage of 3 V, and total device power dissipation of 330 mW at 25 °C. The devices are offered in a 6‑pin DIP package with detailed mechanical dimensions and optional VDE‑marked versions. Ordering information, package dimensions, reflow profile and a life‑support policy are also provided.
