MAN6600 is a product of FAIRCHILD SEMICONDUCTOR CORPORATION, which is a 0.560 inch seven-segment display, it is not suitable for use as a critical component in life support devices or systems. Please read the product manual carefully when using it
The MAN6600 series are 0.560‑inch orange seven‑segment displays built with nitrogen‑doped GaAsP on GaP for high brightness and low forward voltage. They are available in common‑anode or common‑cathode configurations, feature a wide 150° viewing angle, rugged plastic construction and are suitable for both industrial and consumer applications such as digital readouts, instrument panels, point‑of‑sale equipment, clocks and TV/radio displays.
Electrical specifications include a luminous intensity of 510–2200 cd per digit, a peak emission wavelength of 630 nm, forward voltage of 2.5 V at 20 mA, and power dissipation up to 1200 mW at 25 °C. The devices operate from –40 °C to +85 °C, tolerate a reverse voltage of 6 V per segment, and have a soldering time of 5 s at 260 °C. Pin‑out tables and connection diagrams are provided for each part number.
