The AD7548 is a 12‑bit monolithic CMOS digital‑to‑analog converter designed for use with 8‑bit bus microprocessors. It accepts data in two‑byte format and can be configured for left‑ or right‑justified data, with either the least‑ or most‑significant byte first. A separate load DAC control input allows the analog output to be updated either simultaneously with data loading or at a later time, which is useful in multi‑DAC systems.
The device is offered in 20‑pin DIP and surface‑mount packages and operates from a single supply of +5 V, +12 V or +15 V. It provides low gain drift, guaranteed monotonicity to 12‑bits over the full temperature range, and selectable data input formats. Detailed specifications, timing characteristics, absolute maximum ratings, and pin descriptions are provided for design integration.

The AD7548 can be powered from a single supply of +5 V, +12 V, or +15 V.
Data can be left‑ or right‑justified, with either the least‑ or most‑significant byte first, selected via the DF/DOR and CTRL control inputs.
The gain temperature coefficient is limited to 5 ppm/°C maximum, with a typical value of 2 ppm/°C.
