Analog Devices AD7933/AD7934 Datasheet

The AD7933/AD7934 are 12-bit and 10-bit, high speed, low power, successive approximation (SAR) ADCs. The parts operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V power supply and feature 4 analog input channels, an on-chip 2.5 V reference, and 70 dB SINAD with a maximum 2 µA shutdown mode.

About this manual

The AD7933 (10‑bit) and AD7934 (12‑bit) are successive‑approximation ADCs that operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V supply. They provide four analog input channels with a sequencer and support single‑ended, pseudo‑differential, or fully differential configurations. An on‑chip 2.5 V reference can be used internally or overridden with an external source.

Both devices feature low power consumption (as low as 6 mW at 3 V) and a high‑speed parallel interface that supports word‑ and byte‑mode transfers. Detailed specifications cover dynamic performance, timing, absolute maximum ratings, and recommended layout practices.
